Fuel Recovery Fee
This fee is designed to offset the significant fees experienced by Discount Propane, Inc. in the cost of diesel used to fuel commercial motor vehicles.
Hazardous Material Surcharge
This fee covers a portion of the cost Discount Propane, Inc. must expend in order to comply with federal, state and local government regulations concerning hazardous materials, homeland security, emergency preparedness and workplace safety. It is also used to fund other things, vital employee safety training, cylinder re-certification, safety inspections and environmental compliance. The Fee is not government based or paid over to any government agency.
